The Polytechnic, Ibadan (typically called “Poly Ibadan”) is an institution of higher learning in Ibadan in Oyo State, Nigeria.[1] Founded in 1970, Poly Ibadan is similar to other polytechnics in Nigeria. The institution was established to provide an alternative higher education to universities, particularly in technical skill acquisition. The Polytechnic Ibadan is also well known for her unique slogan written in Yoruban language as “Ise loogun Ise” which means ‘Work the medicine for poverty’, a classical Yoruba adage which stresses that hard work is the way out of poverty.

How To Check The Polytechnic Ibadan Admission List

1. Go to the Polytechnic Ibadan admission portal at http://admission.polyibadan.edu.ng/prospect/login.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password where required.
3. Finally, click on Login to access your Poly Ibadan admission status.

How To Check Your Admission Status On JAMB CAPS

1. Open your phone browser (Google Chrome is preferable).
2. Visit the jamb portal by visiting  https://www.jamb.org.ng
3. Click on “Create e-facility Account/Login“
4. A page will be displayed to you. Enter your email address and Password and click Login.
5. From the list of menus, click on “Check UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS“. You will be redirected to JAMB CAPS portal.
6. By the left side of the page, select “Admission Status“. Now you need to change your mobile browser to desktop view.
7. From the menu button on your Chrome browser, tick the “Request desktop site”.
8. Your details including Jamb score, institution, date of birth and admission status will be displayed to you.
9. If you have been given admission as shown on the portal, then accept the admission.
10. If the institution and course space is blank or you have not been offered admission then don’t click on accept admission. Just keep checking back.
