About The School

Rivers State University (RVSU or RSU), formerly Rivers State University of Science and Technology, is a university located in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The university has staff strength of 3,000 and a student population of 22,400 as of 2017[citation needed]. It is the first technological university in Nigeria and also the first university to be situated within the Niger Delta. In 2014, it was rated as Nigeria’s best E-learning institution and was ranked as the 15th best university in the country.

History
The Rivers State University of Science and Technology was established in 1972 as the College of Science and Technology. It was granted independent university status in 1980 and was renamed from College of Science and Technology to Rivers State University of Science and Technology. It is the only university in Nigeria that is accredited to offer degree programs in Marine Engineering.

 

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) 2020/2021 Post UTME screening Exercise that the management of the institution has released the names of candidates offered provisional admission.

How to Check RSUST Admission List.

1. Go to RSU Admission status checking portal at http://ecampus.rsu.edu.ng/index.php.
2. Locate the Admission List Section and supply your JAMB registration number in the appropriate column.
3. Click on Go to load your UTME and post UTME scores.
4. Finally, click on your registration number to access your RSU admission status.

Successfully admitted candidates should log in to the JAMB website to accept/reject the offer – How to Reject/Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS.

You can also confirm your status from the  JAMB admission status checking portal, follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your RSU admission status.
