The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele (BA, MA, Ph.D UPH) on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff and Students wish to invite the general Public to the 37th Convocation Ceremony of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Portharcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

The Convocation Ceremony is scheduled to hold on December 7, 2019 at the Rumuolumeni campus.

IAUE Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events.

1. Sunday December 1, 2019
Thanksgiving Service at the Chapel of Transfiguration, Rumuolumeni campus.
Time is 10:am prompt.

2. Tuesday December 3, 2019
Novelty football match at the University football pitch at Rumuolumeni campus.
Time is 4:00pm.

3. Wednesday December 4, 2019
Exhibition by Departments, Directorates, Students at the Old Lecture Hall Rumuolumeni campus.
Time is 12noon to 5:00pm.

4. Thursday December 5, 2019
Convocation Lecture by Professor Joseph Atobokiki Ajienka, former Vice-Chancellor University of Portharcourt.
Topic is Blessed Are The Teachers.
Venue is the University auditorium and Time is 1:00pm prompt.

There will also be a cocktail party at the Senior Staff Club at Rumuolumeni campus same Thursday.
Time is 5:00pm prompt and strictly on invitation.

5. Saturday December 7, 2019
Convocation ceremony for the conferment of Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s Degrees Doctorate Degrees, Awards and Prizes.
Venue is University auditorium at Rumuolumeni campus and Time is 7:00am prompt.
