For Nigerians who wish to visit Singapore for business purposes, these are the requirements.

  • Fully completed and signed visa application form;
  • One recent(not more than 3 months old) coloured passport-sized colour photograph, with a matt finish background to be pasted on the top right-hand corner of the visa application form;
  • Photocopy of the applicant’s passport biodata page. Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry;
  • A completed letter of introduction for visa application;
  • Computer printout of the Singapore registered business entity’s detailed business profile (showing the names of all the directors / shareholders) from the Instant Information Service, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and printed within the last 3 months;
  • The Letter of Introduction (LOI) may be issued by a local contact in Singapore who must be a Singapore registered business entity. If a person is acting on behalf of the business entity, that person must be a Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old . If you are not able to furnish a LOI from a local contact, you may approach your Embassy to issue a LOI to support your visa application;
  • The applicant and the local contact may be required to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary;
  • Official translations of the documents are required if they are not in the English language;
  • A non-refundable processing fee of S$30 per Visa application will be collected at the time of submission;
  • Where applicable, a security deposit may be required from the local contact or the visa applicant upon approval of the application. The amount of security deposit is between S$1,000 and S$3,000.
  • The security deposit will be refunded to the local contact or the visa applicant if the applicant has not breached any of the conditions stated in the security bond executed by the local contact (or the visa applicant) and his/her departure from Singapore is confirmed by Singaporean immigration authorities.

How To Apply For Singapore Visa In Nigeria

To Apply for Singapore Visa from Nigeria, there are two methods involved; it’s either you apply through the embassy or you apply via online.

After the collation of all the required documents you’re to take them to the Singapore Embassy in Abuja.
You have to contact the Embassy’s website to know if you need the followings:
1. An appointment before submission.
2. An interview for the visa.
3. Finally, the system of passport collection.

Visa Application submission: Monday to Friday – 9.00a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

The second option is to apply online through an online website: www.singerporevisaonline.sg.

Your passport is not needed or other required documents, few minutes after the submission of the completed visa application form, you will receive a confirmation letter, afterwards the visa sticker shall be sent through the postal service, to address supplied by you.
