Duncan Mighty Biography and Net worth….Duncan “Wene Mighty” Okechukwu simply referred to as Duncan Mighty is a Nigerian singer and producer from Eligbam Obio village in Akpor local government of Rivers State, Nigeria. Duncan Mighty has released several tracks, one of the most popular of which is “Port Harcourt Boy”.

It is this track that earned him the mimicker, “Port Harcourt Boy”. The track is simply a tribute to and a way of praising the illustrious sons of Port Harcourt as well to do people, politicians in Rivers state, Nigeria.

Currently he is one of the top 20 richest musicians in Nigeria who makes most of his money from Music and the entertainment industry and is estimated to be worth about $1,500,000.00.

History and Biography

Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu born on 28 October, 1983 and he is an indigene of in Eligbam Obio Akpor local government, one of the urban conurbations that make up the city of Port Harcourt. He happens to be the only son of his parent.


Duncan Mighty attended Federal Government College, Port Harcourt where he came out as the best mathematics student and later read Civil Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt. Till date, he still practices as an engineer when he is off the studio.

Music Career

Duncan Mighty started his music career as a church chorister and play drums for local churches around. After working in a studio in Lagos, he returned to Port Harcourt in 2006 and worked at some studios in the town and thereafter became independent. He released his debut album “Koli Water” in 2008 with 22 tracks in it. The album recorded a significant success.

The First Solo Album

Duncan Mighty’s first studio album is Koliwater which he released in 2008. The two years later, he produced and released “Ahamefula” album solely by himself. Also, all the songs in the album were sung by him without any collaboration. His third album, “Footprints” was recorded as a collaborative effort and it made as its name realistic footprints on the Nigerian music industry. He owns his own record label “Young wealth records” and has released other albums since then.

Duncan Mighty Marriage life

Duncan Mighty got married to his fiancée Vivien on the 25th day of July, 2015. Attendance at the marriage ceremony was only on invitation. Famous gospel artist Sammie Okposo graced the event as the performing guest artist.

Duncan Mighty’s Sources of His Wealth

During an interview with Beats TV, Duncan Mighty talked about his sources of wealth and also what people say about him and his source of wealth. The Port Harcourt Boy singer said that people belief that he might have venture into some illegal means of money making like oil bunkering. He however made it clear that he does not feel bad about such speculations.

This is what he said and I quote,

“I have read in several places where people link my wealth to illegal activities like oil bunkering but I don’t feel bad about it”.

Apart from music, Duncan Mighty makes good money from his construction company where he has employed over 43 staffs in each of his construction site. He said that he makes much money from construction business as a civil engineer and that he has invested much into it.

He said that despite the fact that he is a musician, he is also an engineer who does good jobs leading people to refer others who need his services to him. He said that he is not bragging but has the needed heavy duty machines which he used in work deliveries.
