About The School
Benue State University is a state-owned university in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Its 2006 student enrollment was over 19,000 served by 429 faculties. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs with a catalog of over 50 graduate programs across seven colleges. It is accredited by the National Universities Commission.
The current Vice-chancellor is Professor Msugh Moses Kemba who took over from Professor Charity Anaya on November 5, 2015.
The university was founded in 1992 and served 306 students with 149 faculty. The university was established by the state government to augment the specialized academic offerings of the University of Agriculture. In 1991, the state government formed a 13-member steering committee to plan for and obtain approval for the university. The university began offering classes for the 1992/1993 school year in four colleges: Arts, Education, Sciences, and Social Science.
What Is Admission List
Academic Admission List is a list which contains the name of all successful candidates who have been offered provisional admission in the preferred school of their choice after a successful admission screening.
How To Check BSUM Admission List
Candidates are to confirm their admission status on the BSU portal by paying a non-refundable Admission Verification fee of four hundred (N400.00) naira only using the e-payment procedure.
1. Go to BSUM admission status checking portal at https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/checkAdmission.jsp,
2. Enter your UTME registration number in the required column,
3. Finally, click on ‘Submit’ to access your admission status.
