AFIT Academic Calendar…The calendar of academic activities at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) for postgraduate and undergraduate programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

The management of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna has released the updated academic calendar for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the first semester and second semester, 2020/2021 academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER 100LEVEL

1) 12th October,2020: Resumption of 100level students

2) 12th to 31st October,2020: Lectures

3) 2nd to 7th November,2020: Revision week

4) 9th to 21st November,2020: First semester Examination

5) 23rd November,2020: Departmental/faculty meet to consider results

6) 26th November,2020: Senate meets to consider results

SECOND SEMESTER 100LEVEL

7) 23rd November 2020: Second-semester lecture begins

8) 23rd to 27th November 2020: Add and drop

9) 21st to 26th December 2020: Mid-semester break

10) 20th February 2021: Second-semester lectures end(11weeks)

11) 22nd to 27th February 2021: Revision week

12) 1st to 13th March 2021: Second-semester examination

13) 29th March 2021: Departmental/faculty meet to consider results

14) 1st April 2021: Senate meets to consider results

15) 2nd to 5th April 2021: Easter break

16) 15th April 2021: Resumption for 2020/2021 academic session

SECOND SEMESTER 200LEVEL

17) 23rd November 2020:Second-semester lecture begins

18) 23rd to 27th November 2020: Add and drop

19) 21st to 26th December 2020: Mid-semester break

20) 20th February 2021: Second-semester lectures end

21) 22nd to 27th February 2021: Revision week

22) 1st to 13th March 2021: Second-semester examination begins

23) 29th March 2021: Departmental/faculty meet to consider results

24) 1st April 2021: Senate meets to consider results

25) 2nd to 5th April 2021: Easter break

26) 15th April 2021: Resumption for 2020/2021 academic session
